Hoop World
As a toroid shaped planetoid, it allows for living space on nearly 100% of its total outer surface.
Gravity is controlled by dense spinning rings of matter. The density & spin of these rings is relative to the equator. Counteracting the centrifugal force, they will maintain a near 1G across the surface. Or create low/high gravity zones, likely in the outer equator, and inner equator respectively.
Seasons will vary depending on sun, rotation, and spin of the hoop world. Sun cycles and orbits are particularly tricky. The illusion of day/night cycles can be achieved with multiple artificial suns, both inside and outside the hoop. Using solar shades, the inner hoop will have a similar cycle to that of the Niven Ringworld. The outer hoop will require a ring of artificial stars and solar shades. These can follow the rotation of the ring and are spaced evenly around the outer equator. Leaving the top and bottom of the ring to act as polar caps.
